Application – Lemanic Jazz Workshop

Important: This page allows you to apply for the next edition of the Lemanic Jazz Workshop. By completing the form below, you are taking the first step in the registration process. Your application can only be validated after all applications have been reviewed. You will receive a definitive answer during the month of June.

Nota Bene:

Registration deadline: 1 May. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered, unless they concern under-represented instruments – in which case, exceptional consideration may be granted at the discretion of the selection committee.
Discounted rates are available for registrations made before 1 March, but this does not give priority in the selection process.
Alumni wishing to reapply the following year may do so by sending a simple email.

Audio/video excerpts

To help us place you in the best-suited ensemble for your learning, we need to hear you play — and we’d love to hear your musical voice!
Please submit two short excerpts of you performing, in one of the following formats (mandatory):

With an ensemble — live, rehearsal or studio recording
With a backing track — pre-recorded accompaniment

Also mandatory: Each excerpt must include a moment of improvisation — we want to hear how you express yourself spontaneously.
Don’t worry about recording quality — we care about your playing, not the production.

You can share your recordings via:

Streaming platforms (SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc.)
File-sharing services (Dropbox, Google Drive, SwissTransfer, etc.)
